Bob Smith was in direct mail advertising for 45 years. After 37 years in business and the events from the 911 disaster, the anthrax power issues and the economic downturn in 2007/8 , he moved to Baltimore and then retired to the beautiful Greensboro, Ga. Lake Oconee area. Finding ORHS was Bob’s wife's idea. Less than three weeks after retiring she didn’t know what to do with him and basically told him to go and find a place to volunteer. Since he’s had dogs and cats his entire life , his last being a Cocker Spaniel, ORHS was a great choice. Bob says, “I really believe ORHS is a wonderful organization with wonderful people that do so much to protecting , saving , and placing cats and dogs in our surrounding areas.
