Im-PAw-Tant NOte from whiskey Bradley
Loyal canine companion of Drs. David and Patti Bradley, owners of Lake Oconee Dentistry. My friends at the Oconee Regional Human Society asked me to write to you because Lake Oconee Dentistry is doing something REALLY GREAT this month and you need to know about it!
July 31st is National Mutt Day, or as I like to call it, “National Mixed Breed” Day. This special day was created back in 2005 by animal welfare advocate Colleen Paige to bring awareness to the plight of mixed breed dogs. You see approximately 80% of dogs in shelters are mixed breeds. National Mutt Day is all about embracing, celebrating, and saving mixed breed dogs.
I, myself, am a mixed breed dog, rescued by the Bradleys six years ago. And so is my sister, Sadie! Not to brag, but mixed breed dogs tend to be healthier, better behaved, and live longer!
When it comes to saving mixed breed dogs and find them fur-ever homes, no group does a better job than the Oconee Regional Humane Society. ORHS places hundred of dogs and cats a year. This noble mission would be im-paws-ible to achieve without a small army of volunteers and financial assistance. So, in honor of National Mutt Day, and mixed breed dogs everywhere, Lake Oconee Dentistry is doing something to help the kind folks at ORHS:
Lake Oconee Dentistry is offering FREE x-rays with any $10 (or more) donation to the Oconee Regional Humane Society. That’s a value of up to $142 depending on the number of x-rays needed. Simply call Lake Oconee Dentistry at (706) 468-3233 by August 10 to schedule an appointment. It can be for a regular cleaning or for a nagging issue that needs to be looked at.
When you come into the office, your donation will be placed in the designated ORHS box. One hundred percent of all donation will go towards medical care and fostering these animals until they find their furever homes!
What’s more, Lake Oconee Dentistry has agreed to match every donation, dollar for dollar, up to the first $1,000!
This doggone good deal allows you to stay on top of your oral health while also helping the IRHS and dozens of animals that come through their door every day!
Don’t miss this amazing op-paw-tunity! Call the office today at (706) 468-3233 to schedule an appointment. Be sure to mention this letter to receive free x-rays with your donation. But hurry! You must give the team at Lake Oconee Dentistry a call by Friday, August 10th! Thanks for being a friend to ORHS and for your continued commitment to their mission. They have made a difference in the lives of a lot of dogs…including ours!
With Canine Affection,
Whiskey and Sadie
P.S. Your donation can help put a smile on a dog’s face while polishing up your own smile at the same time! Call (706) 468-3233 to schedule your appointment and free x-rays!
