Gatewood Parents Organizing Texas Rescue Trip

Parents of students at Gatewood Academy are organizing a Pet Rescue Trip to Texas to deliver pet supplies to the areas ravaged by Hurricane Harvey. If you would like to participate or donate, you can drop items off at the Walkers' home at 211 Crestview Drive in Eatonton, which is conveniently located in front of the school.

Items Requested:

  • Blankets
  • Dry or canned pet food
  • Walmart, Petco or Tractor Supply Company gift cards
  • Pet crates of various sizes
  • They are also asking for supplies for the elderly such as warm-up suits, blankets, Depends, Ensure, etc.

Please contact Michelle Caricofe with any questions at (404) 432-4913. The group is planning to take two or three vehicles and a trailer with the goal to PACK THEM FULL! Because of the looming threat of Hurricane Irma, a final date for the trip has not yet been set until the group gets approval from emergency officials. They are also helping to fill a truck that will be leaving from Macon soon. You can bring these items to Farmers and Merchants Bank in Eatonton or 138 Whitney Street in Eatonton. Thank you all in advance for any items, support or prayers you can offer!
