Judy was originally brought to ORHS last year as part of a litter of six. Since then, this sweet, happy girl has had a tough time finding the right family. She thought she had found her forever home back in November, but she was returned only a few days later. Shortly after that she thought she had another shot, but after a few months we learned that one of our dogs had been dropped off at a local animal control center. Spoiler alert: it was Judy. She only recently came back to us, and while the volunteers and workers who know and love her wonder why the first two families didn’t see what we see, Judy maintains her joy and spirit as if no one had ever rejected her.
She truly is a wonderful dog. She is playful, eager to please, and is quickly learning new tricks. So far, she’s perfected the art of fetching and sitting for a treat, and she just learned how to drop the ball on command! Judy is in need of a loving, patient home that can provide her with some gentle and consistent training so she can reach her full potential. She’s a friend to everyone she meets, people and dogs alike. Judy hopes the third time will be the charm for her and she’ll finally find her perfect family to share her love and playful energy with.
